Transform Your Eyes

When thinking about skincare, we often forget about the eyes.  A person’s eyes can tell a lot about their age, so here at Couture Med Spa we offer top-of-the-line Obagi skincare products that can allow you to reverse the years of aging, especially when it comes to transforming the eyes.

One of my favorite new products that we carry is the Elastiderm Eye Roller. This product is made of a bimineral contour complex with zinc and copper malonate, which helps to repair damaged elastin and create new elastin fibers. Creating new elastin fibers will help firm the skin, especially in the undereye area, creating a more youthful appearance. The Elastiderm eye roller has caffeine in it, along with a cold roller application, which will help reduce puffiness, brighten the skin, and help with a smoother appearance. Here at Couture Med Spa, we recommend using this product in the morning to help wake you up and reduce puffiness in the under-eye area.

To supplement the Elastiderm Eye Roller in the morning, the Obagi Elastiderm Eye Cream is then recommended for the evening. The Elastiderm Eye Cream works hand in hand with the Elastiderm Eye Roller and is also a bimineral contour complex with zinc and cooper malonate to help repair damaged elastin and create new elastin fibers. The eye cream differs from the eye roller due the ingredients of licorice root, algae extract and blueberry extract, which are antioxidants to help with hydration. This product is going to hydrate the under-eye area while you sleep to lock in moisture and repair the skin. Hydrated skin is going to decrease the appearance of dryness and wrinkles under the eye, creating a refreshed look.

In addition to hydrating and creating new elastin in the under-eye area, enhancing the appearance of a person’s lashes and brows will also help create a more youthful look. The Obagi Lash Serum and the Obagi Brow Serum have panthenol, also known as Vitamin B5, which helps with lash and brow conditioning, moisture, and texture. The lash and brow serum are also comprised of sodium hyaluronate, which attracts and retains water to hydrate and thicken the appearance of lashes and brows. The biotin in the lash and brow serum support keratin production, which is what lashes and brows are made of, and the proprietary lipid compound targets the anagen phase of the hair cycle to provide thicker and fuller lashes and brows. The application of the lash serum and brow serum are easy and takes little to no time to apply. The lash serum differs from the brow serum with application because the lash serum is an eyeliner brush applicator, and the brow serum is a brush applicator like a mascara comb. The brow serum also has a stronger delivery system, since the skin and hair on the brows are a lot thicker than the lashes. Despite the slight differences, both products produce amazing results in as few as 12 weeks! There is no denying that these two products generate incredible results, with over 96 percent of subjects in studies reporting improvement in length and volume in their lashes and brows.
